Drills

Board-vision drills: see the whole board, fast

Tactics live on top of board vision — knowing, without counting, which squares a knight covers, what’s under attack, where the candidate moves are. These drills train that base layer in short, fast reps.

The drills

Threat radar: find everything under attack at a glance. Knight geometry: see a knight’s reach instantly. Candidate moves: name the forcing tries before you calculate. Visualization and blindfold: hold the position in your head and play moves without the pieces moving.

Short reps, real gains

Each drill is built for speed — many quick repetitions, not long grinds. The point is to make recognition automatic, so in a real game the board reads itself and your calculation starts from the right squares.
