From 1600 to 2000: train what calculation can’t replace

Most players stuck around 1600 calculate fine. What they miss is the pattern — the fork that was there, the loose piece, the back-rank weakness — before any calculation begins. That recognition is trainable, and it’s what separates the club from the expert.

Why pattern recognition, not calculation

Strong players don’t out-calculate everyone — they recognise the shape instantly and calculate only the lines that matter. Chesswarp trains that recognition directly: read each position layer by layer (board influence, the key piece, its path, the points of tension), then solve until you see the motif on sight.

Difficulty that meets you

Puzzles are sorted into rating bands. Filter to Hard (2000+) or Expert (2200+) when you’re ready, and the Tactics Stream and drills feed you the right level — hard enough to stretch, not so hard you stall.

Review what you miss

Spaced repetition resurfaces the patterns you got wrong, spaced out over days, so the gap closes where it actually is for you instead of drilling what you already know.
